You are welcome to take full advantage of all the park facilities. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas for shade, picnic if you’d like, your favorite bevvies, horseshoes, volleyballs, basketballs, tennis rackets and tennis balls, bats, gloves, softballs and more. Bring your favorite signs for the parade and any other costumey thing you think would be fun. Birds, butterflies, faeries, and all living things welcome!
SCHEDULE OF Events
Food and music served all day. Volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, tennis, and pick up softball games can be played any time too. And the playground is awesome.
1:45 – 10pm. Bands play onstage
1:30 – 8 pm Art World (art for anyone, all ages welcome) located right next to the playground
Musical Chairs – a casual hangout out for acoustic music making. Bring your musical instruments and make a little time for this.
Project RISE – a community based art projsect dedicated to messaging a better future.
2 – 2:30 pm Yoga for Kids
2:35 – 3:20 pm Yoga in Nature
1pm – 6 pm Environment Trail (many different environmental groups, find out what are the most pressing issues, where you are needed most and how you can help)
1:30-3:00pm Blood on the Mountain Screening
3:15-4:45pm AWAKE, A Dream From Standing Rock Screening
4:00-5:00pm Games, Three-Legged Races , Costume relays and more
6:30-6:45pm Fun Little Parade for all ages. Dress up as your favorite animal, character or whatever and parade around the park with other jolly souls. (you can make a fun, simple little costume in Art World)
Food: Farm up Food Truck, Working H Meats, Hash Browns and New Grounds, BarBQ’ed Beast, Kona Ice, The Baker’s Rack and Clatter!
Bands: LITTLE BIRD, Dry Town, The Fishermen, Mateo Monk, Still Brewin Band, Expanda Band, and Rob Smith and Friends
